Located
in the plateau area with the height about 35 meters, Gitgit Waterfall
is the most beautiful waterfall in north part of Bali, about 10
kilometers from Singaraja, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest alive
with wild monkeys.
The 40 meter waterfall is impressive cascade that constantly pours into a rocky pool with a small shrine, it forms a small pool where visitors can cool off and go for a swim. Though beware, a local legend states that couples who bathe in the pool together are the end of their love and a break up is imminent.
We often met the wild monkey to get the water from this waterfall. The lush vegetation and the charming nature was amazing was the separate attraction which can be enjoyed by each visitor who comes to visit.
