Hinagdanan Cave is located in Panglao Island, in Bohol Province, in the Philippines. It is an underground cavern with a deep lagoon and many large stalactites and stalagmites.

Hinagdanan cave is about 110 meters long, lit by sunlight through holes in the ceiling. The underground lake is a popular swimming spot with about 10-12 meters deep. The entrance of the cave is so narrow and steep that only one person can enter at a time, about 1 metre wide in diameter.

Hinagdanan Cave was accidentally discovered by a man who owned the area where the cave lies. When he was clearing the decaying branches of the land,he found a hole then threw a stone into it, then he heard a splash. Then he built a ladder to get into the cave. They named it Hinagdanan, which means laddered.

The Entrance Fee is about 20 Peso.
