The Bali Butterfly Park (or Taman Kupu-Kupu in Balinese) is a butterfly and insect conservation facility. This is a research centre, focusing on conservation and collection of endangered species of insects.



Located 7kms north of the town of Tabanan, Butterfly Park spread over 3,500 square meters and there are hundreds of butterflies from 15 types of butterfly species and other insects.

In Bali Butterfly Park, you can to see a variety of collection types and sizes of butterflies in a tropical nature, and see closely the many stages of the metamorphoses of different species, from egg, larvae and pupae, to cocoon and large life-size butterflies. 


Besides the many live specimens that are bred at the park, there are also collections of dried butterfly and insect specimens

Open daily 8am – 5pm (last entry 4pm)
The entry fee for adults is – Rp 50,000, children are admitted at no cost
